OUR STORY

Why can't I find gear made like this anymore?

Remote Projects was born from that one simple question.

Our Story

The idea of Remote Projects was formed on a solo remote island hopping trip in India with a surfboard, hammock and a trusty 1981 military-issued backpack. Inspired by it's functional longevity, the desire was born to build a brand using the same quality materials for everyday use.

Our Vision

Our vision is to design rugged, useful products using quality, durable materials inspired by the wonder and vastness of Australia.

The Remote Community

Remote Projects is made for those who love the Australian lifestyle and this beautiful country we’re lucky enough to call home.

We are a community of everyday adventurers united by a respect for the land and a love of durable, high-quality gear.

Join our Remote Community on Instagram, grab some gear and join us on this journey!

About the Company

Remote Projects is a family business based in Bangalow, NSW run by a husband and wife team, in the heart of the Northern Rivers, where mountains, rainforests, waterfalls, and winding rivers flow into the sea.

Our orders ship from our Ballina warehouse, with our swags crafted here in Bangalow and the bulk of our products made by trusted partners in India.

Discover our values, meet our community, and feel free to reach out anytime.
