At Remote Projects, we are driven by a deep respect for the timeless beauty of remote places, which inspires us to create rugged products that are built to last.

Our vision is to design simple, useful products using quality, durable materials inspired by the wonder and vastness of Australia.

The idea of Remote Projects was formed on a remote island hopping trip in India with a surfboard, hammock and a trusty 1981 military-issued backpack. Inspired by its functional longevity, the desire was born to build a brand using the same quality materials for everyday use.

Remote Projects is made for those who love the Australian lifestyle and this beautiful country we are lucky enough to call home.

Remote Projects is a small family business based in Bangalow, NSW. Our warehouse is located in Ballina, and our workshop is in the Byron Bay Hinterland. We manufacture our waxed canvas range with our partners in India and our swags in Northern NSW.
